The TFG Beer & Pudding Races take place on 22 March 2026 at Thornbridge Brewery in Bakewell, Peak District. Course and race information

The event offers fully waymarked trail courses with varied terrain and scenic views, including climbs out of Bakewell and a descent back along the Monsal Trail beside the River Wye. Runners can choose between:

  • 7 km (short route, 100 m ascent)
  • 13.5 km (long route, 260 m ascent)

A small-group waved start system is used; entrants select a 10 minute start window when registering. Long course runners must carry a mandatory kit. Short course runners must wear kit appropriate for the terrain and conditions; full kit details are provided by the organiser. The finish area is at the Thornbridge Brewery Tap Room where participants are offered a beer and a Bakewell pudding. A proportion of entry fees is allocated to local businesses and charities.
