The Beer Blazer is a multi-terrain running event held on 17 May 2026 at Beer C of E Primary School, Mare Lane, Seaton, EX12 3NB. The event is organised by the Beer Primary School Blazer Committee and raises funds for Beer Primary School PTFA. New routes for 2026 avoid the rocky fields at the start. Refreshments and a BBQ will be available at the primary school on the day. Race headquarters are at the primary school at the bottom of the car park.

The 10 mile route includes over 2000 ft of elevation and uses fields, tracks, cliff tops, the pebble beach between Branscombe and Beer Head, the Undercliffs and the stairway to heaven, with views of the Jurassic Coast. The 6 mile course covers much of the same terrain but with less vertical gain. There is a cut-off at the 2 mile water station (Sea Shanty cafe) - runners who miss this cut-off will be directed back along the beach to complete the 6 mile route. Organisers expect the last finishers to come in under three hours.
Entries open 11 December 2025 and close 10 May 2026. Entry fees start at £20 for the 10 mile, £15 for the 6 mile and £5 for the fun run, with staged increases and a £2 discount for affiliated athletes. Age minimums are 17 for the 10 mile, 15 for the 6 mile; children under 11 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Prizes are awarded for top finishers and teams; fun run finishers receive mementoes. The event is organised under ARC rules; permit number is TBC.
