The Bear 100 Mile Run

The Bear 100 is a point-to-point 100-mile race. The route starts in Logan, Utah, and finishes at Bear Lake on the border of Utah and Idaho. The course travels through the Wasatch-Cache National Forest and the Bear River Range.

The event is a qualifier for the Hardrock 100 and Western States 100. It is also a UTMB index race. Participation requires qualification via a prior official race. Runners must have completed a 50-mile race within 16 hours, or a 100K or longer race, within the four years before registration.

Additionally, runners are required to complete 8 hours of volunteer service, such as trail work or volunteering at an ultra, within a specified window before the race.
