Battle Run Benefiting A Soldier’s Child Foundation

The Ninth Annual Battle Run takes place at Henry Horton State Park in Lewisburg, Tennessee. All profits from the event will be donated to A Soldier's Child Foundation in support of their 2026 camps. The event will honor military veterans and current service members.

Distances and main courses:

  • Crucible : 26.2 miles multi-lap including the obstacle course
  • Battle Axe : 13.1 miles on trails
  • Anvil : 3.1 miles on trails
  • Gauntlet : 3+ miles with 20+ obstacles
  • Anvil & Gauntlet Combo : 7.1 miles
  • Dax's Kid Gauntlet : 0.375 miles

The Crucible is a multi-lap 26.2-mile event that includes the obstacle course; participants may choose to continue or stop after each lap. The Gauntlet features a trail course with multiple obstacles. The Kid Gauntlet is offered in repeated morning sessions at half-hour intervals and registered children may run it multiple times with a single registration.

Participants receive a t-shirt, a custom dog-tag, and a plate lunch at the finish line. Plate lunches are also available to non-participants for a donation to A Soldier's Child Foundation. Trail runs nearby

Trail 5K and 10K at Preservation Park in Thompson's Station raise funds for New To You, a nonprofit supporting foster children. Foster children and families enter free and all proceeds support local foster care.

Run through the night on a 3-mile forest loop at Henry Horton State Park. Choose from 3, 6, 12, or 24 hour timed events under the stars. It's a grassroots race where every step supports a nonprofit providing school supplies for kids.

A Last Runner Standing Backyard Ultra on a 4.1666667 mile loop in Bell Buckle TN, held October 3, 2026. Entry is limited to the first 75 registrants with a wait list available.
