Banter to Banter Community Run
Organized by Abbotsford Trail Running Club, this is a free community trail run that starts at Banter Ice Cream in Abbotsford and finishes at Banter Ice Cream in Chilliwack. The event pairs a trail outing with a finish line treat for finishers.

- 70 km out-and-back challenge for those who want an extended effort
The route is about 80 percent gravel, mostly on the dyke, with a small section of road between Banter Abbotsford and the Sumas dyke. There will be no flagging or signage on course; participants must know the route in advance. A route is available online.
Altra will have a limited number of demo shoes on site, available first come first served. Every runner who completes the 35 km route receives a free cone at the finish. Door prizes are provided by Valhalla Pure Abbotsford and Altra, and one male and one female who complete the full 70 km round trip are eligible for a pair of Altra running shoes.
The event is free. Participants must be self-supportive throughout: there are no aid stations and runners must carry their own hydration and nutrition. Return transport to Abbotsford is the responsibility of participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
