About the race

The Balbirnie Frostbite Trail Race is a winter running event taking place in the scenic woodlands of Balbirnie Park, Markinch. Scheduled for January 19, 2024, the race covers a distance of 4 to 5 miles, featuring a challenging route with mud, water crossings, and gentle hills. Participants can look forward to a bespoke race medal upon finishing, with prizes awarded to the top male and female runners, as well as age category winners.
