Autumn Squatch Trail Race

The Autumn Squatch takes place at Alum Creek State Park in Lewis Center, Ohio. This trail running event utilizes the Rocks and Roots Trail, with the start and finish area located off Hollenback Road, south of the local dog park. Participants can choose from three distinct distances:

  • 10K (one loop)
  • 20K (two loops)
  • 50K (five loops)

The course is designed using a multi-loop system. Runners begin with the North Loop, which is traveled in a clockwise direction for the first 10K. The South Loop follows, run in a counter-clockwise direction for the second 10K. Participants in the longer distances alternate between these loops until their specific distance is completed.

For those participating in the 50K event, specific time limits are enforced to ensure safety and course management. The course closes after 8 hours. Runners in this category must start their fourth lap by 1:00 pm and their fifth lap by 2:20 pm.
