The Autumn Squatch trail races take place on Sunday, November 1, 2026, at Alum Creek State Park in Lewis Center, Ohio. The event is held on the Rocks and Roots Trail, with the start located just off Hollenback Road near the dog park (3993 Hollenback Rd, Lewis Center, OH 43035). The event is a member event of the Ohio Challenge Series.

Course and entry details

The course uses two loops: the North Loop is run first in a clockwise direction for the first 10K, then the South Loop is run counter-clockwise for the next 10K; loops alternate as needed to reach each race distance. Course layout is subject to change. Packet pickup is available at Fleet Feet Sports in Lewis Center on the Friday and Saturday before the race during normal business hours; race day packet pickup begins at 7:00 AM at the race site. The 50K has cut-off rules: the course closes for 50K participants at 4:00 PM (eight hour limit). All 50K participants must begin their fourth lap before 1:00 PM and their fifth lap before 2:20 PM. The event has a no refund and no bib transfer policy. Entry fees increase in stages; early entry is priced lower and race day entry is higher. Participants receive an event shirt and an event medal. Muddy Duck returns April 5, 2026 at Alum Creek State Park with 6K, 10K, 20K and 50K trail courses through rocks and roots. Expect rugged singletrack, a race shirt and finisher medal, and Ohio Challenge Series camaraderie so register early.
