Arrowhead Half Marathon & 5K
The Arrowhead Half Marathon & 5K is scheduled for Saturday, August 22, 2026 in Arrowhead; date, location and time are subject to change. The event features two distances:
- 5.6K | 3.5 Miles
- 21.4K | 13.3 Miles
The half marathon route crosses Arrowhead, Bachelor Gulch and Beaver Creek ski area trails, including the Quiver Trail to the summit of Bachelor Gulch Mountain (high point 9,560 ft) and finishes across Apache, Ute and Dakota trails. Course surfaces are predominantly single track with some dirt and gravel roads; detailed stats list about 2,844 ft of elevation gain and loss for the half marathon and 223 ft gain with 937 ft loss for the 5.6K.
Aid stations are available five times on the half marathon course, with water, Skratch hydration drink and snacks; the 5K has no aid stations but water is provided at the start and finish. Physical course maps are provided at the race and a digital Ride with GPS file is available for prereading.
Parking and day-of registration are located at Berry Creek Middle School with shuttles to the respective race starts; additional parking is available at Red Canyon High School. Awards are given by age group for both distances, and all entrants are entered into a post-race raffle. Race t-shirts and post-race food will be available at the finish.
