Army Inter Corps and Individual Trail Championship

This trail race is hosted by Army Athletics at Matterley Basin near Winchester in Hampshire on 4 March 2026. The event is billed as both an inter corps and individual championship and runs over a marked trail course.

Participants choose between the following distances:

  • 10 km (two laps of 5 km)
  • 20 km (four laps of 5 km)

Racing is conducted as a mass start. Each lap is 5 km and water stations are available twice per lap. Team entries are available with two age-category options: teams of athletes aged 13 to 17, or teams of athletes aged 13 and over. All team members must fall within the chosen age range and ages are determined on the date of the event.

Single lap trail races in the Meon Valley from Queen Elizabeth Country Park offering 16 mile, marathon and 50km options with marked routes, aid stations and mandatory fluid carriage.

Guided 30 mile trail run from Harting Down along the South Downs Way, visiting Beacon Hill, Cocking Down and Kingley Vale. Presented as suitable for first time ultra runners, run at a group pace with practical support and route guidance.
