Annual 2.62 April Fools Marathon
The Annual 2.62 April Fools Marathon takes place on April 1, 2026 at Pavilion 2 in Bear Creek Park, Keller, Texas. This is the ninth edition of the Bear Creek Running Company event and is hosted at 400 Bear Creek Park Road.
The course is a 2.62 mile out and back along the Bear Creek Greenbelt and is open to runners and walkers. The registration fee is $22 and includes a post race celebration with food, beverages, and snacks. Registration is limited to 140 participants and the first 120 registrants receive a limited edition 2.62 marathon shirt.
Shirts are distributed during packet pick up at the store on the following schedule: Sunday March 29, 12 to 5 PM; Monday March 30, 10 AM to 6 PM; Tuesday March 31, 10 AM to 6 PM; and Wednesday April 1, 10 AM to 4 PM. The event organizer is Bear Creek Running Company. All proceeds are directed to the GOOD Running fund to support local running and recreation areas.
