Event overview

Circuit Running Events Limited stages the ANY KIND OF WEATHER RUNNER at Northampton Active, Bedford Rd, Northampton NN4 7AA on 21 February 2026. The event is a six-hour challenge where participants may complete distances from 5K up to an ultra marathon within the time limit; runners may start a final lap up to 5:59:59 and may finish after six hours. Entry fees range from £25 to £34 depending on the distance.

Course and distances

The course is run on laps of either 3.28 miles or 4.37 miles. The route includes a 5K turn point and measures for longer distances as follows:

• 5K
• 10K
• Half marathon
• Marathon
• Ultra marathon
• 6 hour challenge

The regular course may be changed near the event following a health and safety review. The event is licensed by the TRA and is run under UKA Athletics rules.

Facilities and event information

At the end of each lap there will be an aid table offering water, squash, fizzy drinks and a variety of food. Finishers receive an ANY KIND OF WEATHER RUNNER medal and a standard five-piece goody bag. The venue has toilets but no separate changing facilities or showers. There is parking at the venue and a non-secure bag drop at the start/finish area. Event instructions are sent to participants by email about seven days before the event; race numbers are collected from registration on the morning of the event. The route uses public footpaths and participants are asked to be considerate of other path users.
