ANY KIND OF WEATHER RUNNER

The event takes place on 21 February 2026 at Northampton Active, Bedford Rd, Northampton NN4 7AA. It is organised by CIRCUIT RUNNING EVENTS LIMITED as a six-hour timed challenge where entrants may complete distances from 5K up to an ultra marathon within the time limit. The course is lap-based and the regular route may be changed after a health and safety review. Maximum entry is 80.

Format and distances

  • 5K - open to entrants aged 12 and over
  • 10K - open to entrants aged 16 and over
  • Half marathon - open to entrants aged 17 and over
  • Marathon - open to entrants aged 18 and over
  • Ultra marathon - open to entrants aged 20 and over
  • 6 hour challenge - open to entrants aged 18 and over

Laps are either 3.28 miles or 4.37 miles. There is a 5K turn point; a 10K uses two laps of the 5K lap. A half marathon is three or four laps, a marathon six or eight laps, and an ultra marathon seven or nine laps.

Facilities, rules and practical information

An aid table is provided at the end of each lap with water, squash, fizzy drinks and a variety of food. Finishers receive an event medal and a five-piece goody bag. Toilets are available at the venue; there are no separate changing facilities or showers. Parking is available; a bag drop exists but is not secure. The event is licensed by the TRA and conducted under UKA Athletics rules. Entry fees range from £27 to £34 and entries close 20/02/2026.
