The Antelope Canyon X event in LeChee Rock, AZ offers two race distances:

Course and logistics

The half marathon course uses 100% Navajo Nation sand, double-track roads, ATV trails, washes, and slot canyons. Course features include aid stations roughly at mile 4.3, mile 6.9, and mile 9.3, and a 1.5-mile loop in a wash before returning to the main road. The course total is given as 13.9 miles with about 1,200 feet of ascent. The event is cup-less; runners must use their own bottles or a hydration pack. Course marking will use ribbons and signs. A cutoff at the last aid station (mile 11) is enforced at 5 hours.

The 8-mile course is a lollipop route that follows part of the half marathon into Canyon X, includes canyon bed running, a 155-foot sand hill climb (about 200 meters), and approximately 850 feet total ascent/descent. The event follows Page, AZ local time (same as Phoenix) although it is on Navajo Nation. Bib pickup is available the day before at the start line parking lot and there is limited pickup at the start on race day. Registration closes April 1.
