Antelope Canyon X Half Marathon

The half marathon course is entirely on Navajo Nation sand and uses double track roads, ATV trails, washes, and slot canyons. Course marking will use ribbons and signs. Aid stations are placed along the route: first aid at about 4.3 miles, next aid at mile 6.9 after roughly 4.4 miles of canyon running, and a third aid near mile 9.3. The last aid station has a strict cutoff of five hours with no exceptions (mile 11).
The event is designated cup-less; runners need to carry their own bottles or a hydration bladder. The stated difficulty rating ranges from Medium to Very Hard depending on fitness, sand conditions, and solar exposure. There is also an 8 mile lollipop course that drops into Canyon X slot and returns via double track.
