Mandatory gear requirements include a working cell phone, a GPX-enabled device with the route loaded, and a headlamp for certain distances. Crew and pacer access varies by distance: crew and pacers are allowed for the 50 Mile, crew only for the 55K, and none for the 30K and Trail Half.
