The Aldbury 5
The Aldbury 5 is an off road race of 5.3 miles held on 28 June 2026 at The Recreation Ground, Stocks Road, Albury. The course follows well marked paths around Ashridge Woods and runs over varied trail and off road terrain. The route is marshalled and both the start and finish are at the recreation ground.
The event has been organised annually since 1992, except in 2020. It is organised by the Aldbury Sports Club and takes place with the permission of the National Trust; a donation is made from each participant entry fee. A Garmin GPS track of the route is available for reference.
Entry is open to affiliated and non affiliated runners. Affiliated club runners are charged £13.00 and non affiliated runners £15.00. An administration fee of 75p is applied to each entry by the online entry system partner. Entries on the day are permitted only if the race is not full.
Facilities include provision of water for runners and sandwiches and refreshments at the finish. Race numbers are available for collection on the day. The event is marshalled along the route. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
