The Aldbury 5
The Aldbury 5 is an annual trail running event held in the village of Aldbury, England. First established in 1992, the race follows a course through the Ashridge Woods with the permission of the National Trust. A portion of every participant's entry fee is donated to the National Trust.

The terrain is composed of varied off-road and trail paths. The route begins and ends at the Recreation Ground off Stocks Road. For safety and direction, the course is marshalled and follows well-marked paths.
Participants can collect their race numbers on the day of the event. The organizers provide water for runners during the race, and refreshments including sandwiches are available at the finish line for all participants. The event is organized by the Aldbury Sports Club. Registration is open to both affiliated club runners and non-affiliated participants, with a discount available for members of British Athletics, Welsh Athletics, UKA, or Scottish Athletics.
