Aherlow Trail 11.5k

The Aherlow Trail 11.5k is a trail run in County Tipperary on Saturday, 7th March, 2026. The event includes an 11.5 km main race with a total climb of 352 m. There is also a junior or short race over 5 km.

The route follows forest trails, covering the first 8.5 km of a longer 50k route. The course is described as being similar but different to previous Aherlow Trail races. The race is fully marked and GPS devices are not allowed. The event is part of the Coillte Winter/Spring Trail League in Munster.

Registration takes place at the Aherlow Community Centre. Parking is at the Aherlow GAA grounds. A post-race prize-giving and refreshments are also held at the Aherlow Community Centre.

Mandatory kit includes a showerproof, windproof jacket (Level A - Basic). All runners must bring this kit to the race, and the items to be carried during the race will be finalized on the day based on conditions. Failure to have the required items may lead to denied entry or disqualification.
