Event Overview

The ACT Trail Fest is a trail running event hosted by the Arundel Conservation Trust. The 2026 edition is the sixth annual event.

Date and Location

The event is scheduled for Saturday, September 26, 2026. The starting point for all races is the Arundel Municipal Building parking lot at 257 Limerick Road in Arundel, Maine.

Race Distances

Participants can choose from three running distances:

  • 5 km
  • 10 km
  • Half marathon

A separate Kid's Bike Race is also offered.

Course Details

All courses are set on trails. The races use the ACT Multi-Purpose Trail and the Eastern Trail, featuring woodland and stream views. All routes start and finish at the same location: the Arundel Municipal Building parking lot.

Event Features

All participants receive a medal and a t-shirt. The event will have a live band and food available. The event is held in partnership with the Kennebunkport Conservation Trust.

Registration

Registration fees vary by distance and timing. Early bird, regular, and day-of-race pricing tiers are available. Advance registration closes at noon on September 25, with in-person registration available on the morning of the event. The Kid's Bike Race is free.
