Cock-a-doodle Dawdle
Cock-a-doodle Dawdle takes place at Hyde Hall Farm, Buntingford, SG9 0RU. The event uses a looped course on the Hyde Hall estate that runs anticlockwise and is mostly off-road.
The standard loop measures 5.4 km (3.3 mi) with about 52 m of climb per lap. Elevation on the course ranges from 112 m to 140 m. Surface types include tarmac paths, grassland and trail, with roughly 80 percent off-road and about a fifth on road.

- Ultra Marathon
As a lap venue, one lap equals the 5k distance and laps stack to form longer distances. A heavy half marathon is normally 5 laps with the option to change to 6 or 7 laps on the day. The standard ultra is 9 laps with the option to increase up to 12 laps depending on time available.
Facilities and logistics described for the event include a water aid station at the lap point, a baggage area, on site secure parking with a parking attendant, and a bespoke finishers medal or a lucky dip medal option. A GPX file for the course is available to download. Entries close 48 hours before the event. The event is cupless so participants should bring cups or bottles for refilling.
