The Inflatable 5K at Hertfordshire County Showground in Redbourn is an untimed inflatable obstacle course and fun run held across multiple lap distances. The course layout repeats each lap; one lap measures 2.5 km and includes a series of large inflatable obstacles and music zones along the route.
Participants can choose from these distances:
- 2.5k : 1 lap, 15 obstacles
- 5k : 2 laps, 30 obstacles
- 10k : 4 laps, 60 obstacles
- 15k : 6 laps, 90 obstacles
Children aged 5 to 15 must be accompanied by a paying participating adult, with a maximum ratio of three children per adult. Adult entries are for ages 16 and over. The event is presented as untimed; participants may run, jog, or walk.
Included on the day are a finisher's medal, medical cover, event photography, finish-line goodie bag, and on-course hydration. There are music zones and a free spectator area with restricted access to the marked course. Practical arrangements note paid parking (£5 per car), a paid bag drop (£3 per bag) with size limits and searches for safety, toilets on site, and food and drink vendors. Dogs are not permitted.
