Moo-rathon, Calf and Hen K

The event is scheduled for 13 March 2027 at Hyde Hall Farm, Buntingford, SG9 0RU. It uses a lap format on a 5.4 km (3.3 mi) loop run anticlockwise that is mostly off road (about 80%), with roughly one fifth on road. Each lap has approximately 52 m of climb with a high point near 140 m and a low point near 112 m. The surface mixes tarmac paths, grassland and trail.

Distances offered include:

  • 10k
  • Half Marathon
  • Full Marathon
  • Ultra Marathon

One lap equals the event 5k and stacks for longer distances. A heavy half marathon is set at five laps by default, with options to change to six or seven laps on the day. The ultra is set at nine laps by default and can be increased up to 12 laps depending on time available. Event cut offs include both six-hour and four-hour options depending on the start wave.

Facilities and logistics: a water aid station is located at the lap point; a baggage area and on-site secure parking are provided with a parking attendant to direct vehicles and to the race number collection point. A GPX file is available from the course tab. The event is cupless so participants should bring bottles or cups. Entries close 48 hours before the event. Finishers receive a bespoke medal or a lucky dip previous-medal option. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
