WTM Night Run
Wild Trail Manchester organises a regular night run that meets at Chorlton Water Park, 74 Maitland Avenue, Manchester M21 7WH, with the meeting point outside the information centre and toilet block. The session runs for one hour and follows trails along the River Mersey.
The run is organised at a social, conversational pace so no runner is left behind. Terrain is mainly hard-packed trails that can be muddy. The stated difficulty is easy. Participants are advised to wear suitable running kit; trail shoes are recommended but not essential. Headtorches are required once evenings get darker, and a limited number of Ledlenser headtorches are available to borrow.
Organisers note that they will generate images for social media during the event; participants may request not to be pictured in advance or at the start. Wild Trail Manchester also provides a WhatsApp car-sharing group for those offering or needing lifts; the organiser can supply the link on request.
The event is an in-person, community-focused trail run that emphasises a steady pace, basic trail equipment, and shared arrival at Chorlton Water Park. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
