Wiltshire - Kingfisher Run
The Kingfisher Run is a timed lap event held at Coate Water Country Park in Swindon. Participants complete one or more 3.35 mile (5.36 km) laps on a measured course and are recorded with an official time; finishing at least one lap awards a spinning Kingfisher medal. Entries may be attended or completed virtually.
The course is a mix of well-maintained gravel and tarmac paths, lakeside tracks, and woodland trails. It is generally flat with a few undulations and includes the spiral "Curly Wurly" bridge that crosses the M4 and leads onto a woodland railway path. The park is a local nature reserve known for its reservoir and wetland areas and is a habitat where kingfishers are often seen.

- 4 Laps: Half marathon
- 8 Laps: Full marathon
- 9+ Laps: Ultra distance
An aid station is positioned at the start/finish of each lap and caters for dietary requirements including vegan and gluten free options. Places are strictly limited to manage crowding on paths and the bridge. As per UK Athletics rules, distance restrictions apply to participants aged 20 or under.
