Wild One Run in Wilden backcountry near Kelowna
Wild One Run takes place on October 3, 2026, in Wilden's backcountry near Kelowna, British Columbia. The event raises awareness and funds for youth mental health. All proceeds go to the Wilden Legacy Fund, established with the KGH Foundation to strengthen mental health support and services for young people and their families in the Okanagan Valley and beyond.
The event offers multiple distance options and race amenities:
- 1K kids run with finisher medal.
- 5K run and walk; dogs welcome; includes race swag and finisher medal.
- 10K run; includes race swag and finisher medal.
Registrants for the 5 km and 10 km distances receive a Wild One Run technical bandana. The event provides finisher medals for participants and trophies for top three finishers. Additional race-day features include fuel and hydration stations, post-run hydration, live music by a DJ, a kid's zone with a bouncy castle and face painting, and running health and first aid support on the trails.
