About the race
Vert Till Ya Hurt is a trail race in West Kelowna, British Columbia on April 3, 2027. The event is offered in a single-stage 16K format at Smith Creek or a multi-stage 37K format that crosses three mountains in one day.
Distances
- 16K at Smith Creek : 530m+ ascent.
- 37K across three mountains : 1,850m+ ascent.
The 37K format begins with the Smith Creek course, then continues with Goat’s Peak and Mount Boucherie. Course marshals, timing volunteers and medics are present at each peak, and porta potties are available. Headphones are not permitted and motor vehicles are not allowed on designated non motorized trails.
Registration opens November 20, 2026. The 16K field is limited to 150 runners. Entry includes a fully marked, timed course, lunch, event T shirt, medal, bib, and a $10 donation per entry to the West Kelowna Trail Crew. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
