About the race
The Dirty Feet Trestle Run is a gravel trail running event on the Kettle Valley Railway (KVR) within Myra Provincial Park near Kelowna and Okanagan Lake, taking place on September 20, 2026. The course follows a wide double-track gravel pathway that runs across KVR trestles and through tunnels, offering views of the trestles, tunnels, the City of Kelowna and Okanagan Lake. The event uses an out-and-back format with kilometre markers and turnaround arrows.

Elevation change for each course is listed for participant reference: the 5 km course shows about 8 m, the 10 km about 21 m, and the 21 km about 43 m. Aid stations are placed as follows: a finish-line refuelling station for the 5 km, one station at 5 km on the 10 km course, and stations at approximately 5 km, 10 km and 15 km on the 21 km; stations supply water and electrolytes. The event is capped at 200 participants and serves as a fundraiser for Friends of the South Slopes, with a portion of entry fees donated. Optional participant medals are available for purchase in advance or on race day. Dirty Feet merchandise will be available at the event and payment methods accepted include cash, debit and credit.
