West Yorkshire Trail Run
The event takes place across the Harewood House estate in West Yorkshire, set within more than 100 acres of landscaped grounds, parkland and woodland. The route runs through named areas of the estate, including Wall Side Plantation and Sugar Hill, passes close to the Emmerdale TV set, and follows trails around Eccup Reservoir. The return route goes through Carr Plantation and Piper Wood and passes a lakeside section before the finish.
Distances offered:
- 22k Half Marathon (approximately 262 m elevation gain)
- 13k (approximately 188 m elevation gain)
- 8k (approximately 102 m elevation gain)
The event is chip timed and the route is fully signed. On-course support includes water stations, on-course refreshments, first aid cover and course marshals. Participants receive a metal finisher medal, a finisher goodie and a refreshing drink, plus a personalised certificate. An event photographer is present.
Practical information for participants includes on-site registration to collect race bibs on arrival; runners should bring their QR code for collection. The event operates a plastic free policy and requests runners bring a reusable cup or bottle for use at water stations. Spectators are welcome and the course uses clear signage and caution markers at hazards and road junctions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
