Winter Weavers' Way Ultramarathons : 14 November 2026
The inaugural Winter Weavers' Way offers trail ultramarathons in Norfolk with two distances and a seaside finish at Cromer Pier. The event is a UTMB Index race and follows sections of the Weavers' Way footpath through villages, riversides, meadows and stately home estates.
The routes and support are described as follows. The 50 km route begins at Stalham Poppy Centre and runs via North Walsham, Blickling and Felbrigg before descending to Cromer Pier. The new 100 km route starts at Great Yarmouth Broadland Rugby Club, runs alongside Breydon Water, crosses the Halvergate marshes to Acle, follows the River Bure to Hickling and joins the 50 km route at Stalham. Recovery facilities and drop bag collection are at Cromer Community Centre.
Checkpoints are placed along both routes and include North Walsham, Blickling, Erpingham and Hanworth among others. Organiser information includes a winter mandatory kit list, checkpoint and cut-off documents, race briefs and downloadable GPX files for each route.
