Course Details and Support

The course is designed to be fast and runnable. The 25K specific route includes approximately 9.5 miles of paved trails and 6 miles of dirt trails. For the longer distances, a central hub is located at the Hyde Lake Pavilion, which serves as the start and finish line.

There are four fully stocked aid stations per full loop:

  • Bridge Aid Station: Located at miles 7.4 and 14.4.
  • Refuge Aid Station: Located at mile 10.8 with crew access.
  • Tour de Wolf (TDW) Aid Station: Located at miles 20.8 and 27.0 with crew access and drop bag availability.

Regulations and Logistics

Live tracking is provided for participants in the 100-mile and 107K categories. Pacers are permitted only for these two distances after the first 33.4-mile loop is completed. Muling, or having a pacer carry gear for a runner, is prohibited. Trekking poles and headphones are allowed on the course.

Parking is located near the Tour De Wolf Pavilion, allowing participants to pass their vehicles twice during each full loop. All participants must complete the distance they registered for, as dropping down to a shorter distance during the race is not permitted for a finish credit.
