Cobra Den Winter Series
The Cobra Den Winter Series is a four-race trail series held at Shelby Farms Park in Memphis, TN from December 12, 2026 to February 27, 2027. The series alternates between the Wolf River Trails and the Tour de Wolf trail systems and is organized by Mamba Trail Runners.
The series is offered in two formats with multiple distances:
- Short Series - 5K, 10K, 5 miler, 7 miler
- Long Series - 10K, 8 miler, 10 miler, half marathon
Individual race dates and locations are:
- December 12, 2026 : Forest Half Marathon and 7 Miler at Wolf River Trails (Wolf River Refuge Trailhead)
- January 23, 2027 : Monocled 5 Miler and 10 Miler at Tour de Wolf trails (Beaver Lake Pavilion)
- February 13, 2027 : Arabian 4 Miler and 8 Miler at Wolf River Trails (Wolf River Refuge Trailhead)
- February 27, 2027 : Anchieta 5K and 10K at Tour de Wolf trails (Tour de Wolf Pavilion)
Age group awards are given at all four races in standard age divisions and overall male and female awards are presented. All participants receive a short sleeve tri-blend race shirt while supplies last.
A virtual series option allows participants to complete each race distance during its designated race weekend from any location. Virtual results are separate from in person results and are not eligible for series overall or age group awards. Virtual entrants receive series swag mailed before the first race.
Registration terms include no refunds, deferrals, race credits, or transfers; unclaimed shirts may be donated after the events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
