Cobra Den Winter Series
The Cobra Den Winter Series is a set of four winter trail races held at Shelby Farms Park in Memphis, TN from December 12, 2026 through February 27, 2027. Events use the Wolf River Trails and the Tour de Wolf trail systems and are organized by Mamba Trail Runners. A full series option includes all four races and offers a cost saving compared to paying for each race separately.
The event offers two series with the following race distances:
- Short Series: 5k, 10k, 5 miler, 7 miler
- Long Series: 10k, 8 miler, 10 miler, 1/2 Marathon
Participants receive short sleeve tri-blend race shirts while supplies last. Age group awards are presented at all four races in these divisions: 0–9, 10–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, 70+. Overall male and female awards are also presented. The organizer states a weather policy that may delay, postpone, or cancel events for lightning, severe weather, snow, or unsafe trail conditions, with efforts made to reschedule when possible. The registration policy specifies no refunds, deferrals, race credits, or transfers; race shirts and finisher medals will not be mailed to absent participants and leftover shirts will be donated.
