MRTC Frank Horton Memorial Winter Off-Road Series
The MRTC Frank Horton Memorial Winter Off-Road Series is a four-race trail running series held in the Memphis area between January 10 and February 21, 2027. The series schedules one race on each of four dates and uses a points system to determine series awards after the full set of races.

- 5K January 24
- 8K February 7 at Nesbit Park, Bartlett (also called Stanky Creek)
- 10K February 21 at Shelby Farms
Registration and race day procedures are managed online. The event will not provide onsite laptop registration; participants may register on their own personal device on race day. Fees are published for individual races and for full series entries, and all registration fees increase by $10 on or after the first race of the series. If registered by December 21, participants will have their chip and bib mailed before the first race. Packets will be mailed in the first week of January. Packet and shirt pickup details are to be announced. Full series entrants receive a long sleeve t shirt; single race day registrants do not receive a shirt.
Awards are based on points across the four races. There are no awards for individual races; to be eligible for series awards a runner must complete at least three of the four races. Completing all four races awards one extra point. Age groups are determined by age at the last race. Results are posted by email and online and awards are distributed after the series. The awards ceremony will take place one to two weeks after the final race. Rules state substitutes are not permitted and tie breaking uses the best performance in the longest race.
