USATF-Long Island 8K Open/Masters Para Athletic XC Championships

The USATF-Long Island 8K Open/Masters Para Athletic XC Championships is a championship cross-country race held on November 8, 2026 at Bethpage Polo at the Park, Bethpage State Park Playground in Bethpage, NY. The competition covers a distance of 8K and is scheduled to take place rain or shine.

Entry is restricted to competitors aged 18 and older; this is not a youth race. Registration options distinguish USATF Long Island members from non-members. Published pre-registration fees are $13 for USATF LI members and $15 for non-members; day-of registration fees are $15 for members and $20 for non-members. Online listed fees include processing charges. There is an Open & Masters 8K registration option.

Awards include championship medals for the top three men and top three women overall, and top three men and women in multiple age divisions (19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, 90 and over). Team awards are given to the top three USATF teams in Open, Masters 40+ and Senior Masters 60+ categories. Team scoring is by combined time of scoring members and all scorers must be registered members of the same team; published scoring counts vary by division.
