UltraTrax Alpine Valley : October 9, 2027, Alpine Valley, Elkhorn, WI
UltraTrax Alpine Valley is a timed long distance walking event held on October 9, 2027 at Alpine Valley in Elkhorn, Wisconsin. The course runs through forested hillsides and twisting single-track with steady ascents across the Kettle Moraine region. The route is marked and supported by aid stations.
Distances offered:
- 7 miles (Level 1)
- 14 miles (Level 2)
- 21 miles (Level 3)
- 28 miles (Level 4)
Walkers have a 10 hour completion limit for their chosen distance. Participants may carry added weight in a vest or ruck; the organizer lists 10, 20, and 35 lb options for added challenges and additional finisher items. Bibs can be mailed or picked up the morning of the event; registrations made after September 15, 2027 require in-person bib pickup or pickup by a designated person. Onsite parking is complimentary. Finishers receive a custom t-shirt, an UltraTrax patch, and a medal; weighted entries may receive additional finisher swag. Food and refreshments will be available for purchase after the trek.
