UltraTrax Alpine Valley
UltraTrax Alpine Valley is a single-day endurance walking challenge held October 9, 2027 in Elkhorn, Wisconsin. The event gives participants a 10 hour window to complete their chosen distance on a looped mountain course at Alpine Valley Resort.
The course is a 7 mile loop that traverses forested hillsides, twisting single-track, steady ascents, open ski runs, and wooded slopes within the Kettle Moraine region. Terrain is varied and includes uphill sections and narrow trail segments. The event provides well-marked trails, professionally timed tracking, stocked aid stations, and professional photography.
Participants choose from the following distances and may complete them unweighted or with a weighted vest or ruck. Weight options include 10, 20, or 35 pounds. For weighted entries participants must supply their own vest or backpack and have it weighed on the morning of the event; perishable items are excluded from the weight total.
Per-finish items for participants include a commemorative patch, a venue-specific finisher shirt, and a Trail Wolf or Grey Wolf medal depending on distance completed. One portion of registration proceeds supports the Conservation Lands Foundation. Registrations are non-refundable but may be transferred to a future event date for a fee.
