Twisted Ankle Trail Race - Summerville, GA
The Twisted Ankle Trail Race is held at Sloppy Floyd State Park near Summerville, Georgia. The 2026 running marks the 20th year of the event and 20 years of donating all proceeds to the park. For 2026 only the race includes a special Double The Fun option that sends runners up Becky's Bluff twice.
Distances offered include:
- 20 mile Double The Fun option with two trips up Becky's Bluff
- Half marathon
- 10 Miler
- 5K (about 3.1 miles)
The course uses a mix of wide trails and some single track, and reaches Marble Mine. Runners for the 10 Miler, Half Marathon, and 20 mile routes top Becky's Bluff and follow a short section of the Pinhoti Trail. The terrain includes rocks and roots.
