Event Overview
The Don't Die in the Chair Last Man Standing is a running event held in Rome, Georgia. Organized by the Three of Seven Project, this race utilizes a format where the time permitted to complete each lap decreases as the event progresses. The course is situated at 0 Gore Springs Rd SE.
Race Format
The competition follows a specific structure based on 4 mile loops. Participants must complete each loop within a designated timeframe to remain in the race. Unlike traditional backyard ultra formats, the cutoff time for each subsequent loop is reduced by one minute.

- The second loop has a 59 minute cutoff.
- The third loop has a 58 minute cutoff.
This pattern continues until only one participant remains.
Logistics and Facilities
The event site includes a single aid station located at the start and finish line, which provides water and snacks. On-site facilities include porta-potties. Participants can camp at the location the day before and the day of the race. Both tents and RVs are permitted, though the site does not provide hookups. Ground fires are prohibited, but portable fire pits may be used. Merchandise from the organizer is available for purchase via cash or Venmo.
