Model 5K faMily Trail Run/Walk
The Model 5K faMily Trail Run/Walk is scheduled for October 3, 2026 on the campus of Model High School in Rome, Georgia at 3252 Calhoun Rd NE. The event benefits Model High School programs.

The 5K course begins and ends at Woodard Tuggle Stadium and uses a mix of paved roads and wooded trail. The route follows Barron Rd toward the middle school, includes a half-mile wooded loop behind the middle school, a one-mile back-trail segment, and a final paved loop in front of the elementary and high school before returning to the stadium. The course is about half wooded trail and half paved road. Trails are marked and volunteers will be stationed along the route. Parking is available in adjacent lots around the high school and stadium.
Registration opens June 1, 2026 and closes September 27, 2026. Pre-race registration fee is $30; race day registration fee is $40. The Kids Fun Run registration fee is $20. All registered runners receive a commemorative short sleeve race T-shirt. Medals and awards are given to top finishers overall, masters winners, and to top male and female finishers across the event age categories, from 10-Under through 70 & Over.
