Tough Gal Team Challenge - Rotorua
The Tough Gal Team Challenge is a women-only team obstacle event held at Lakes Ranch, Rotorua. Teams consist of three women and the course is approximately 6 km (one lap), with time equivalence used to account for varied terrain between venues.
The event uses outdoor farmland and natural bushland terrain and features multiple obstacles such as mud pits, climbing walls and crawling tunnels. Obstacles are designed to be achievable for a range of abilities; competitors may skip obstacles but will become ineligible for podium placings if they do so. There are no electrified obstacles.

- Personalized race numbers and a finishers medal are provided to competitors.
- Electronic timing, first aid, event support, hot showers, a hot swimming pool and parking are included in the entry fee.
- Hot food and beverages are available for purchase on site; cash is recommended.
- Dogs are not permitted at the venue.
Registration for the event takes place at the Lakes Ranch big barn. Podium merit medals are awarded to the first three Tough Gal Teams based on gun time.
