About the race
XTERRA Rotorua Festival takes place on Apr 10, 2027 at Lake Tikitapu in Rotorua, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand. The event is part of the XTERRA World Tour and the XTERRA Trail Run World Series and presents multiple off road race formats set in and around Lake Tikitapu and Whakarewarewa Forest. The event lists an elite prize purse of NZ$10,000 and 28 World Championship slots.
The festival offers a set of distinct races and course gradings that range from easy to difficult. Races include off road triathlons, duathlon, mountain bike and trail running events. Age and entry rules published for the event include a minimum age of 14 for the individual and team XTERRA events and for the 21 km race. There is no age requirement for the 5.5 km and 11 km events, though children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. Entries are non refundable but can be deferred to the following year or transferred to another person; if the event is cancelled for reasons of health, safety or natural disaster entry fees will not be refunded.
