About the race
The TEVA X TITAN Obstacle Course Run is an obstacle course racing event held at Cape Joy (The Purple Windmill) in Klapmuts, Western Cape. The course offers trail running combined with constructed obstacles and two main distance categories: a Sprint of approximately 5 km with obstacles and a Savage of approximately 10 km with obstacles.
Participants choose an entry level: Elite or Fun. Elite competitors must complete all obstacles and are timed for podium positions; failure to complete an obstacle can result in disqualification from Elite results. Fun entrants are non-competitive, obstacles are optional, and there is no timing for Fun entries. A spectator day pass is available.
On-site facilities listed for the event include food vendors and a bar, live entertainment, medical support, marshalling, a mud hose-off area, secure key box (at own risk), and storage for an additional fee. Finishers receive a unique Titan medal; the event also provides live entertainment as part of the day.
The event supports team and corporate entries with team sizes from 2 up to 100 participants. Children under 13 must be accompanied by a paying adult throughout the course.
