Run The Vines RTV Waterblommetjie Festival at Windmeul Kelder
This event is the bonus installment of the Run The Vines 2026 series at Windmeul Kelder in Paarl, Western Cape, held as part of the Waterblommetjie Festival. The festival includes a traditional potjiekos competition and a monthly farmers' market selling local produce, including waterblommetjies. A waterblommetjies and wine pairing session is scheduled, and a play area with a jungle gym is available for younger visitors.
Distances and entry fees are:
- 5 km - R180
- 10 km - R200
- 17 km - R230
R50 applies for late entries. Because routes run on working farms, actual distances may be slightly longer or shorter than promoted. Route profiles will be posted nearer the event and may change. Timing is provided by BoutTime; participants must collect a timing tag at registration. A permanent BoutTime tag is available for R100. Live results and SMS result notifications are provided. Unpaid entries are removed after three days.
Waterpoints will be available, though runners are advised to be self-sufficient for hydration. Hydration stations provide only drinks, not food. Medals are awarded to all finishers. Attendees are advised not to leave valuables in cars; items can be left at registration. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
