Out of Eden 5K Yomp
The Out of Eden 5 km Stenkrith Park Yomp takes place in Kirkby Stephen on 13 June 2027 at Station Rd, Kirkby Stephen CA17 4SZ, UK.
The event returns in 2027 with support from Out of Eden. It starts with an energetic warm up at Basecamp and follows a route that crosses the Millenium Bridge over Stenkrith waterfall and passes the Merrygill and Podgill viaducts.
The event is presented as appropriate for a wide range of ages and fitness levels, including those progressing from couch to 5k or participants looking for a gentle stretch after Saturday events. The route is not suitable for pushchairs. Dogs are welcome when kept on a lead.
Food, drink and music are available at Basecamp before, during and after the event. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Northern Viaduct Trust, which supports maintenance of the viaducts and local walks enjoyed by the community. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
