The Mammoth Trail Run - Glen Rose
The Mammoth Trail Run is scheduled for October 10, 2026 at High Hope Ranch, 3353 County Road 2009, Glen Rose, Texas. The course uses trails across roughly one thousand acres in the Texas Hill Country.
Distances offered include:
- 100K Ultra, 26 hour cutoff
- 50K
- 25K
- 10K
- 5K
- Mighty Mammoth 1K, non-timed kids dash
Some sections of the course include steep inclines and declines. Trail shoes with strong traction are advised. The event is cupless; participants must carry their own hydration vessels. Dogs are not permitted. The event runs rain or shine. There are no age group awards.
Finishers receive a finisher medal and an official race shirt. Participants who complete the 100K receive a finisher buckle. Aid stations provide provisions along the route. Post-race food, beverages, and live music are planned.
Primitive camping and boondocking sites on the property are available for $10 per person, up to six people per site. Local guest houses and the Baymont Inn & Suites are listed as lodging options. Entry fees are non-refundable; transfers to another person, category, or Mammoth event are allowed. Course maps, GPX files, and a participant trail guide are provided.
