Camp Classic Trail Run
Camp Classic Trail Run takes place at Camp El Tesoro in Granbury and offers trail distances for youth and adults. The event includes organized races on marked trails that pass through woods, prairies, and creek-side paths.

- 10K
- Kids 1K Fun Run (age 12 or younger)
Both the 5K and 10K begin at the same starting line. The 5K is one full lap of the loop, and the 10K is two laps of the same course. Mile markers are posted and the route is signed with arrows and hazard indicators. A water station is located at approximately 1.7 miles; 5K runners pass it once and 10K runners pass it twice. Strollers are not permitted on the trails.
Timing is chip based and managed by Race Day Event Services, with results available about 1–2 minutes after finishing and live updates through the morning. Awards are presented by overall and by age group, with separate masters (age 40 and up) recognition.
Optional weekend upgrades include a chef-prepared gourmet dinner in the camp dining hall and overnight cabin lodging. Cabins are climate controlled, sleep 12 in group-style arrangements, are accessible, include private restrooms, and include a light breakfast. Free parking is provided with attendants on site.
The event runs rain or shine. Registration fees are non-refundable and support the Camp Fire Camp Scholarship Fund. Race packets include a bib with timing chip that must be worn on the front for accurate timing. First aid responders are on site at the finish.
