Telluride Mountain Run
The Telluride Mountain Run is a technical mountain race in the San Juan Mountains above the historic mining town of Telluride, Colorado. The event offers five routes that send runners over old mining roads, singletrack and alpine tundra, across mountain passes, exposed ridgelines, and high summits. The course includes large elevation gain and reaches altitudes above 13,000 ft.

Packet pick up and race check-in take place in Telluride Town Park for several distances, with separate pickup at the finish line area for others. The longer races provide the option to use drop bags, and the 65-mile race includes a mandatory safety meeting near check-in. Saturday races start from Telluride Town Park. Sunday races start from Oak Street Plaza at the base of the gondola. Most races finish at Telluride Town Park. The Hill Climb finishes at the top of Gold Hill on the Telluride Ski Area, where runners must descend back to town either by a shorter hike to the See Forever Trail and the San Sophia Station gondola, or by a longer route through Bear Creek Basin.
Finish-line provisions include snacks and beer; participants must present ID to receive a wristband for alcohol.
