Sproul 10K/5K
The 20th annual Sproul 10K/5K takes place June 26, 2027 at the Western Clinton Sportsmans Club in Hyner, Pennsylvania. The event is held on trails in Sproul State Forest and offers mountain scenery and varied trail conditions.
The 10 km course runs through the mountains with about 3 miles of continuous uphill to the top of McCloskey Mountain, followed by roughly 3.7 miles of downhill to the finish. Runners can expect vistas, stream crossings, and technical single track. The race is noted as one of the tougher 10K trail courses in Pennsylvania.
A 5 km version of the race is also offered as a shorter trail option in the same area. Both distances were included in the 2026 Rocksylvania Trail Series.
