About the race
The Sproul 10k is scheduled for June 26, 2027 in North Bend, PA. It is the 20th annual running of the event and is also presented as the "Toughest 10K in PA." The race is organized by PA Trail Dogs and takes place at the Western Clinton Sportsman’s Association Clubhouse, 161 Sportsman's Lane, North Bend, PA 17760.
The course climbs approximately 3 miles to the top of McCloskey Mountain, then descends about 3.5 miles to the finish. The event is part of the Rocksylvania Trail Series, with the 10K in the Slate Division and the newly added 5K in the Sandstone Division.

Registration opens December 20, 2026 at 7:00 PM ET and closes June 1 at 11:00 PM. Entry is limited to the first 300 runners. There are no race day sign ups. Race rules include no refunds, no deferrals, no bib switches, no bandits, and no dogs on the course. All registered runners receive a technical shirt and a post race meal.
