Event Overview
The Sproul 10K is an annual trail running event held in North Bend, Pennsylvania. The upcoming edition marks the 20th year of this race, which takes place at the Western Clinton Sportsman's Association Clubhouse located at 161 Sportsman's Lane. The event is organized by the PA Trail Dogs and is a featured part of the Rocksylvania Trail Series.
Course Details
The race course features a significant elevation change, consisting of a three-mile ascent to the summit of McCloskey Mountain. Following the climb, participants navigate a 3.5-mile descent back toward the finish line. The event offers two distinct distances for participants:
- 10 km race (part of the Rocksylvania Trail Series - Slate Division)
- 5 km race (part of the Rocksylvania Trail Series - Sandstone Division)
Registration and Participation
Registration for the event is limited to the first 300 runners. There are no race day sign-ups available, and participants must register in advance between late December and early June. The registration fee includes a technical shirt and a post-race meal for all participants.
