Spring Fling - Fort Worth
Spring Fling is a race series presented by Bigfoot Running Company on April 18, 2027, at Halton City High School in Fort Worth. The event includes in-person and virtual race options and a range of on-course and event-day supports.
Distances and event types:
- Kids Dash for ages 10 and under
- 1 Mile run
- 5K run (3.11 Miles)
- 10K run (6.22 Miles)
- Volunteer then Run 5K (3.11 Miles)
- Virtual Run (12.4 Miles)
Timing and awards: the 5K and 10K are chip-timed; the 1 Mile and Kids Dash are not chip-timed. Age group awards and overall trophies are offered for the 5K and 10K, and finishers receive medals and race shirts. The event features a live DJ, finish-line announcements, aid stations on course, and a live awards celebration. A Bigfoot mascot role is included among volunteer positions.
Volunteer options and perks: a Volunteer Then Run option includes a chip-timed bib, shirt, and finisher medal and is limited to the first five sign-ups. Full race volunteers receive a race shirt, VIP access, and a choice of a future race entry or a $20 digital gift card.
Logistics: packet pickup is available before the race with a shirt guarantee 10 days prior. The course uses mixed surfaces and races proceed in a variety of weather. Public park users may be present. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
