Gingerbread Lane 5K & 10K - Fort Worth
The event takes place at Marine Creek Lake in Fort Worth, Texas, and offers several race options and related activities across parks and green belts. Course surfaces may include paved trails, crushed granite, and dirt paths. Packet pickup is available starting 1.5 hours before the event, and a shirt guarantee cutoff is set 10 days before the date.
Race options include:
- Kids Dash (50 m) for ages 10 and under, not timed, includes tee shirt, medal, and recognition pin.
- 1 Mile (untimed), includes tee shirt and medal.
- 5K (3.11 miles), chip timed, awards include overall trophies, masters recognition pins, and age-group pins.
- 10K (6.22 miles), chip timed, includes Bigfoot trophies for overall winners and age-group awards.
- Volunteer then Run 5K (limited to first 20), requires arriving 1.5 hours before the race and includes a chip timed bib, tee, and finisher medal.
- Virtual Run (6.22 miles).
On-course aid stations will provide water and assistance. DJ music, finish-line snacks and refreshments, holiday cookies and milk, and live awards at the registration tent are part of the event rally. A holiday costume contest offers prizes including two free future race entries, a trophy, and a holiday treats bucket.
