Saved By The Trail
Saved By The Trail is a trail running event on March 13th 2027 at Gateway Park, 751 Beach Street, Fort Worth, TX 76111. The course uses a 7 mile loop that showcases shaded singletrack, wooded Trinity River bottomlands, fast flowy sections, punchy climbs, rocky terrain, and multiple twists and turns.

- 11K : 1 loop
- 5K : modified loop
Field and cutoffs: the event has a 500 runner maximum and a 12 hour race cutoff.
Aid and logistics: there are two full aid stations stocked with drinks, sodas, sweets, salty snacks, PB&J, hot foods, fruit, and basic medical supplies (NO NSAIDs). Aid station locations include an Overlook and the Start/Finish area. The event operates cupless aid stations so runners should carry reusable cups, bottles, or hydration packs. Drop bags are allowed at the main aid station and the other aid station. No pacers are permitted and crew access is limited to the main aid area.
Awards and volunteers: top finishers are recognized per distance with overall and masters awards, and awards are given in male, female, and non binary categories. Volunteer shifts range from 4 to 8 hours and include race merchandise, park entry, camping area, and a provided meal, with additional registration incentives for repeat shifts.
