Spring Blickling Half Marathon
The Spring Blickling Half Marathon takes place on 14 March 2027 in Blickling, with the start and finish positioned in front of Blickling Hall. The organiser describes the course as scenic. The event is a half marathon distance and includes chip timing and a bespoke race medal for all entrants.
Entry is priced at £35 plus a booking fee and includes parking. Charity entries are available; entrants who fundraise a minimum of £150 through an official fundraising page will have their entry fee refunded. Selecting a charity partner involves consenting to share contact details with that partner for fundraising support. If an entrant fails to meet the £150 fundraising requirement their charity entry may be removed.
An official race T shirt can be purchased as an add on for £17; a sizing chart with width and length measurements is provided for men’s and women’s sizes. Race numbers can be posted for an additional £2 or collected on the morning of the event. Minimum age is 17 years. The course cut off time is 4 hours.
The route is multi terrain, combining road, adopted road and hard wearing tracks; it is not affiliated with UK Athletics but follows their guidelines. Some sections may be uneven or narrow. Facilities include toilets and event parking, and donuts and cookies will be available at the finish. There is an option to donate an extra £5 to support EPIC Norfolk dementia work. Entry transfer to another runner is permitted until 28/02/2027. The organiser will move entries to a rescheduled date if the race is postponed, and will offer a deferral or refund options in the event of cancellation as described by the organiser.
