Skipton Sweetie Skedaddle

Skipton Sweetie Skedaddle, organised by Its Grim Up North Running, is licensed by the Trail Running Association and run under UK Athletics rules. The next listed race date is 06/02/2027. The event base is Craven Leisure Centre, 21 Gargrave Rd, Skipton, with the start area located in Aireville Park, a short walk from Skipton train station.

The course follows the Leeds and Liverpool Canal towpath. The surface is compact canal towpath and trail, described as flat and suitable for fast times, with continuous waterside views. Courses are either out-and-back or lapped depending on distance. The route is clearly signed and supported by marshals, with feed stations at approximately every 3 miles. Suggested footwear is road shoes. Cut off time for all distances is 6.5 hours.
