Santa's Summit Slam

Santa's Summit Slam is a running event held at the YMCA of the Rockies campus in Estes Park, Colorado. The event takes place on December 19, 2026, and features a single distance for participants:

10 km course with approximately 1,500 feet of elevation gain.

The route consists of a mixture of trail and paved surfaces. The course is designed with a significant amount of climbing as it traverses the YMCA property. Participants of all paces are welcome to take part in the event.

The race begins at the Lower Cookout Pavilion. Participants are encouraged to wear holiday-themed costumes that are suitable for running and climbing. Every registration includes a YMCA day pass, allowing participants to access the property for the remainder of the day.

Upon completing the course, participants receive a commemorative Santa's Summit Slam ornament and breakfast.
