Santa's Summit Slam
Santa's Summit Slam is a 10K run held on December 19, 2026, across the YMCA of the Rockies campus in Estes Park, Colorado. The course mixes trail and paved surfaces and features nearly 1,500 feet of elevation gain, making the route strongly uphill in places.
This is the inaugural running of the event. Holiday costumes are encouraged provided they are runnable and suitable for climbing. Registrations include a YMCA day pass. Finishers receive a Santa's Summit Slam ornament, a light up necklace, and breakfast.
Registration opens August 25. Early pricing for the 10K is $45 from August 25 through October 31, $57 from November 1 through December 12, and $65 from December 13 through December 19. Estes Valley residents may use code EPLOCAL for 10 percent off registration.
