Old Man Winter Bike Rally & Run 2027
Old Man Winter Bike Rally & Run takes place in Bohn Park, Lyons, Colorado on February 7, 2027. The event combines mixed-terrain bike courses and trail runs across a single-day winter festival format. Courses use gravel, paved roads, single track and trail surfaces and include both short and long options for riders and runners.
The event program includes on-course support and more than 100 course prizes called "Snow Flake" prizes. Participants receive event gear and timing credentials, including a custom RFID bib and chip timing, and a hot post-event meal. The finish area features live music, food, saunas, cold plunges and bonfires with s'mores.
Organizers monitor weather and coordinate with local authorities. Course modifications and shorter in-town route options are prepared if conditions change, and routes can be shortened during the event for safety. Entries may be transferred to another category or person without a transfer fee. Pedal assist e-bikes are allowed but are not eligible for podium prizes.
Course options cover a range of distances and formats: Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
